Shawnessy Shenanigans, our official newsletter, is published 11 times a year (September to July) by the Shawnessy Community Center Association and Digital Gallery. We have a circulation of approximately 3400 homes. The newsletter is delivered usually during the first week of the month.

Opinions expressed within the articles, reports and submissions reflect those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the newsletter editor, the Shawnessy Community Center Association or Digital Gallery.

Display Ads

All display ads in Shawnessy Shenanigans are handled by Digital Gallery. To set up your ad, for quotes, and for questions, please contact Carole Benoit at Digital Gallery by phone (403-201-0357), fax (403-201-0359), or email (digitalgallery@shaw.ca).

Article Submissions

To request that an article be included in the newsletter, email a copy to newsletter@shawnessy.ca for consideration.

Classifieds

Classified submissions require two steps:

1. Send an email with the following information to newsletter@shawnessy.ca before the deadline: your ad, your Shawnessy Community Association membership number (if you have one), which month(s) you would like the ad to run, and your full name.


2. Mail or drop payment off at 33 Shannon Green SW*, c/o Hannah Willey / Newsletter Editor. (* New Address!)

Alternatively, drop off printed ad and payment at the above address. Please note, however, if you do have access to the Internet, sending the ad via email is preferred.

Additional Details:

• Pricing: $5 per ad per month for Shawnessy Community members, $15 per ad per month for non-members, for the first three lines. Additional lines available, up to a maximum of 50 words, at an additional cost of $5 per line.
• Payments can be in the form of cash or cheque. (Cheques should be made payable to the Shawnessy Community Center Association).
• Both the payment and the ad must be received before the deadline in order for the ad to be placed in the following month's newsletter.
• Please double-check your ads before submitting!

Deadline

The deadline for articles, classified ads, payments for classified ads, and display ads is 5:00pm on the fourth day of the month for the next month's issue, so make sure to prepare your submissions early!
